The Hotel Tucan Dugu sits on a hillside with extensive grounds, covered with lush tropical foliage.

	Accommodations are in a long, white, Caribbean-style, two-storey building with a huge thatched roof. The spacious rooms offer many modern conveniences and comforts. The swimming pool, terrace and most of the rooms have fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Honduras.

There are two restaurants. The circular dining room has a very tropical ambience with its high thatched roof and louvered windows. Deluxe breakfasts and elegant seafood dinners are served here. For more casual dining the other restaurant is located in the bar adjacent to the pool.
