El Pescador is the premier destination in Belize for anglers and divers. Situated on a private beach, this colonial style lodge offers courteous English-speaking guides trained to accomodate every type of angler at every skill level. El Pescador on Belize's historic Ambergris Caye is a colonial style lodge, situated on a private coconut studded beach, slightly isolated and away from the hustle and bustle of crowds yet close enough to San Pedro to enjoy a day shopping or an evening in town. El Pescador is a small, 12 room, one suite hotel located on the Bahia del Punta Arena, 2.6 miles north of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. The location is remote and private, yet close enough to go into town on foot, bicycle, shuttle, water taxi or golf cart. The lodge itself is a white, colonial style building with all the rooms facing the beach and barrier reef.

The new pool lies alongside the beautiful Caribbean beach. Each room has overhead fans, air-conditioning is available upon request. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a private bath.

Meals are served buffet style and include two seafood selections, (one baked or broiled and one fried), a meat selection, potatoes, rice or pasta, salad, a hot vegetable, fresh fruit, and home baked bread Homemade dessert is accompanied by coffee or tea. Because this is a fishing and water sports lodge, there is usually no nightly entertainment.

  • Full American style breakfast is served between 6:30 am - 8:30 am.
  • Lunch, a buffet combination of seafood and local cuisine, is served at noon daily.
  • Guests are invited to join us for hors d'ouvres at 5:30 pm in the bar.
  • Dinner is served buffet style at 6:30 pm. It is a combination of American and Belizean cuisine. It consists of 1 meat dish, 2 local seafood dishes, a pasta, potato or rice, a fresh vegetable, salad and homemade bread. Dessert is accompanied by coffee or tea.
