Meet & Greet on arrival at Belize International Airport, connect with a short commuter flight to the idyllic island of Ambergris Caye. Enjoy spectacular aerial views as you get your first glimpse of the amazing Belize Barrier Reef.

Our destination is San Pedro - made famous by Madonna in her song "La Isla Bonita" ("The Beautiful Island"). Transfer to the lovely beachfront Mayan Princess for a 9 night stay.

Our accommodations are beautiful, fully furnished oceanfront studious complete with queen or king bed, bathroom, living room with full kitchen and queen size sofa bed settee. Each suite has a balcony overlooking the crystal clear, turquoise waters of the Belize Barrier Reef.
 

The apartments have full kitchens for those who wish to self cater and there is a wide choice of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance for those who don't. The kitchen will come in handy to make a cup of coffee and you can keep your beers cold in the fridge! 

Each evening we plan to go to a different restaurant for dinner and you may choose whether you would like to join us or "do you own thing" We will also include places like the Capricorn Restaurant which is reached by a moonlight sail... There will be a mixture of price ranges and everyone will be responsible for their own tab so you can set your own budget!

Except for our first night as we have included a WELCOME DINNER at Elvi's Kitchen, the most famous restaurant in San Pedro - Tonight is Caribbean Night!

• Belize Barrier Reef - 5 days local diving x 2 tanks daily, including tanks, weights and belts
• Extra diving can easily be arranged on arrival

• Day Dive Trip to Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Caye and Jacques Cousteau's world famous "BLUE HOLE". 
• Day Dive Trip to the Turneffe Islands 
• 3 days local diving including Shark Ray Alley 
• 1 night dive at Hol Chan Marine Park
• Day trip to Caye Caulker on the "Me Too" Catamaran.

Swim, sunbathe, shop, or read a good book in a hammock! You can choose whether you want to join the Day Trip to Caye Caulker, the Jungle River Trip, the Day trip by Air to Tikal in Guatemala or to make your own independent arrangements on arrival.

Do it all or do nothing at all on this sun-drenched island where even the palm trees sway to the beat of Punta Rock and Reggae music!

1. Jungle River Trip to Altun Ha

Transfer by boat to the mainland, across San Pedro Lagoon and up the Northern Mangrove River. Here you'll get the chance to see some of the exotic flora and fauna of Belize while cruising at walking pace along this incredibly peaceful and virgin waterway. 

The boat docks at little Bomba Village where a van will take you to Altun-Ha Mayan Ruins to view some spectacular temples. This will be followed by lunch (not included) and a swim at the exotic Maruba Resort & Jungle Spa. 

2. Day Tour by Air to Tikal

Transfer to the airport for the one hour flight that will take you back 1,000 years in time! 

Hidden in the midst of rainforests teeming with wildlife are enormous ceremonial cities with magnificent Temples and Pyramids built by the mysterious Mayan people. 

Day trip to the TEMPLES OF TIKAL in Guatemala - the most fabulous site of all! 

Imagine the colourful ceremonies where human sacrifices were offered to the Gods. Listen carefully and you will hear the still-beating heart of a dying Civilisation . . .

3. Blue Hole & Barrier Reef Fly Over Tour

Belize boasts the second largest reef in the world and the Blue Hole made famous by world renowned Jacques Cousteau. The spectacular circle of the Blue Hole is nearly 1000 feet in diameter and located at Lighthouse Reef, one of Belize's three coral atolls. All this and more are included in your panoramic view aboard a specially equipped Cessna Caravan, a high wing airplane operated by Tropic Air. The aerial trip begins with "Take Off" from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye and flies over these major atolls, cayes, the Barrier Reef and a view of the Belize mainland including Belize City. The one hour flight has a lively narrated tape giving the history of the various formations, marine and geographic descriptions and is an educational experience. 

Unfortunately it is time to go home! Transfer back to the mainland by commuter flight to Belize International in time to connect with homebound flights.
