Day 1 - Thursday - Arrival in Belize - (RO)

On arrival at Belize International Airport you will have airport assistance as you transfer to the Tropical Education Center, adjacent to the Belize Zoo. After checking into the rustic accommodations, enjoy a BBQ dinner and meet your fellow travelers.

Day 2 - Friday - The Adventure Begins... (B,L,D)

Rise early and travel the Hummingbird Highway to the outskirts of Dangriga situated on the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Here a motor charter will be waiting so you can head out to the Southern Belize Barrier Reef.

On each stage of the trip you're teamed with the best guides in Belize - individuals whose knowledge and experience enables you to see and do what you never thought possible.

We begin with two days of sea kayaking in a remote island group along the Southern Barrier Reef.

Tropical sea kayaking in Belize means crystal clear waters, thousands of coral rfeefs, a multitude of marine life, camping on remote and undisturbed tropical cayes and enjoying balmy evenings under the stars. Water temperatures in Belize range from 78 to 80 degrees F.

Day 4 - Sunday - Glover's Reef - (B,L,D)

Today we move on to our luxury field camp at Glovers Atoll for two more fantastic days of snorkeling, kayaking, diving and boardsailing.

One of three atolls offshore of Belize, the waters of Glovers Reef are renowned for the remarkable clarity and profusion of marine life. Glovers Reef Atoll was named after pirate John Glover who used the area as a base from which to raid Spansih merchant ships laden with riches plundered from the New World.

The shallow water reefs and numerous islands offshore of Belize were ideal waters for pirates to elude the larger Spanish ships.

Day 6 - Tuesday - Off to the Rainforest - (B,L,D)

Returning to the mainland we fly south along the Maya Mountains into the Toledo District of Belize. Here the rainforest covers the land and the ancient traditions of the Maya are still strong. On our next series of adventures see us descend into the Hokeb Ha caves, climb by ladders and cable walkways into the tree tops, scramble to reach the top of Mayan temples.

Day 8 - Thursday - Jungle River Adventure - (B,L,D)

The next stage of our journey takes us deeper into the wilderness. We spend 3 days on the Upper Moho River using specially designed PVC-construction, two-person inflatable river kayaks, which combine the stability of a raft with the ease and performance of a kayak.

This river has been chosen for the superb scenery and wildlife viewing and combines flat-water, underground excursions and exhilarating whitewater challenges.

Day 10 - Saturday - Garifuna Culture Celebration - (B,L,D)
