RENDEZVOUS TO A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE…
Coco Plum Caye consists of three individual islands. Coco Plum Island Resort is located on the middle island, which consists of approximately 16 acres. The waters are shallow enough to enable guests to walk from one island to the other. While exploring the islands, you are likely to discover brilliant starfish, hermit crabs, juvenile tropical fish, and a variety of shells. |

Coco Plum Island Resort is a newly constructed resort built by local carpenters under the supervision of the resort's owners, a Belizean and American couple. They are experienced in managing a small island resort. They are avid water lovers who enjoy snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and fishing. They appreciate the natural, pristine environment of Coco Plum Caye and wish to share this beautiful island with others.
We offer relaxation packages that include transfers to and from Dangriga and the caye, three meals a day, and snorkeling and kayaking excursions. Diving and fishing packages can also be arranged with experienced, professional guides. Since Coco Plum Island Resort is only a 20-minute boat ride from the coastal town of Dangriga, adventure packages can also be arranged, offering guests the opportunity to explore inland areas of Belize. COME RELAX IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF CASUAL ELEGANCE AND LEAVE ALL YOUR CARES BEHIND… |
AMENITIES

The cabanas are equipped with comfortable queen-size beds and futons crafted locally of indigenous hard woods.
The exteriors are painted in bold, tropical colors and feature wide verandas over-looking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. ![]() All the cabanas face east, thereby offering guests views of spectacular Caribbean sunrises and the opportunity to enjoy the prevailing northeasterly winds. Our bar and restaurant facilities are located at the northern edge of the island under a 40-foot thatch built by local Mayan artisans.
![]() Also along the northern edge of the island is a 200-foot dock facing east. At the end of this dock is a gazebo which is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing, and swimming. From this venue, our guests can watch for passing dolphins, rays, and even our resident manatee. There is a nature trail along the western edge of the island that leads from the cabanas to the southern point of the island. The trail runs along a mangrove-lined lagoon. Along the trail you may happen upon iguanas, hermit crabs, or several species of birds. At the southern point are two-thatch umbrellas perfect for reading your favorite novel, sunbathing, or simply relaxing with that special someone. The waters here are also perfect for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. We have several kayaks available for our guest's use. For the kayaking enthusiast, kayak to nearby Man-of-War Caye, a bird sanctuary; or take a leisurely row to the barrier reef; or kayak along mangrove-lined islands, where you may happen upon a school of feeding dolphins or a gentle manatee. Pack lunches can be arranged for longer trips. There are also masks, snorkels, and fins available for rental. The waters surrounding the caye are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. |
